My primary criticism of SPSS is the price or the cost of the license. And it makes it very easy and allow me to point and click and choose the methods that I want to use and then I can copy and paste the syntax and then save it for later, which I think is probably one of the biggest benefits of using SPSS. So if I run through a bunch of different problems and run a lot of different methods, I'm able to backtrack and rerun those methods at a later time if necessary using the syntax available in SPSS. I really like that it allows me to edit my syntax and save it for later. SPSS allows us to use quantitative methods. It allows us to use and publish our data in scientific journals. So for instance, I use SPSS to establish quantitative relationships between variables in science.
